Imagine sitting in front of a blazing fire, cosy and warm while outside the frost settles on the ground or sitting on the verandah watching the world go by on a warm summer's day...well you can at Cypress Ridge Cottages. Set amongst natural granite outcrops, the cottages are private and the only sounds you hear are the birds.

Relax and unwind in one of our modern fully self-contained cottages, the Pioneer Cottage is for couples only and the Settler Cottage while ideal for couples can sleep 4 people.

Surrounded by Granite Belt bushland, just a breath away from wineries, restaurants and national parks.

Giraween National Park is an iconic Queensland national park and the region's most popular national park. It offers something for everyone; bushwalking, picnicking and bird watching and is only 15 minutes away.

Storm King Dam is located 10 minutes away - the perfect place for swimming, fishing or canoeing as well as water skiing or just dip your feet in with a good book.

Ballandean Tavern is 5 minutes down the road - great for a country pub meal or take-away after a busy sight-seeing day.

Wineries galore - 3 within 1km of Cypress Ridge; Just Red, Symphony Hill and Hidden Creek while Stanthorpe is home to 25% of Queensland Wineries.

Fresh produce - The Granite Belt is spoilt for choice with fruit & vegetables. Fresh is the rule when purchasing and farmer markets and farm gate sales make this easy. Don't forget the Dairy farmhouse & Bramblepatch for the essential cheese & dip to go with the numerous wineries.

Additional Terms and Conditions

Children free during school holidays. The cottages are self-contained and include linen. Guest Laundry Facilities are available. Arrivals any time after 2pm. Cottages vacated by 10am. Late checkout by arrangement. LONG WEEKENDS and FESTIVAL WEEKENDS - Minimum two night booking. EASTER - Minimum three night booking. (Long weekends and Easter are at weekend rates). All rates firm at time of booking but are otherwise subject to change.

The Pioneer Cottage is a studio style with kitchen/dining room, bathroom and an open plan bedroom/living room with queen bed and 2 recliner lounges and log fire. The verandah has an outdoor setting and a gas barbecue is provided. The cottage is fully self contained and is self catered

Extended Summer Special - Settler

The Settler cottage is a 1 bedroom with a double sofa bed in the living room by the log fire. The cottage is self contained and self catered with full kitchen facilities. All linen is provided. A shady verandah and outdoor setting is great for a meal on your gas barbecue.

Pioneer Cottage
