From Cairns.
Drive south on the Bruce Highway following the signs either to Townsville Innisfail or Tully. When you arrive at Innisfail after about 1hr make a right hand turn after passing ANZAC park which is on your left. Keep following the Bruce Highway for about 30 minutes and you will come to a small town calles El Arish. Here you will see a left handed sign pointing to Mission beach. Drive through beautiful rain forest for 16km. Just before reaching the town of Mission Beach you will see a small hardware store on your right along with Paradise Wines. Turn right at the sign which says Wongaling Beach. Continue until you arrive at a small shopping centre. You can't miss it as there is a statue of a large Cassowary. Turn left down Wongaling Beach Rd The first street on your left is Coolibah Street. Turn left here then left again into Kurrajong Close. We are No 5.
From Townsville drive north on the Bruce Highway. After about 2 hours you will reach the town of Tully. Turn right after driving through Tully and head for Mission Beach. When you arrive at a large statue of a Cassowary turn righ into Wongaling Beach Rd. Turn left into Coolibah Street then left again into Kurrajong Close. We are No 5.

Hibiscus Lodge has a separate guest wing featuring 3 luxurious rooms. All have EN-SUITES, AIRCONDITIONING plus CEILING FANS, TELEVISION & DVD (small DVD library available). The Frangipani Room has large double bath tub. Great for honeymooners or that special occasion. If fresh air is your thing and you like to listen to the sounds of the rain forest at night and not be bothered with tropical bugs we do have INSECT SCREENED windows ( most essential in the tropics.
Each morning relax over a gourmet tropical breakfast or a full cooked breakfast (the choice is yours) with a choice of cereals, yoghurt, fresh locally grown fruit (some of which is picked from our own orchard) juice, and toast with homemade jams and marmalades, tea and freshly ground plunger coffee which is grown in the Tablelands.
A complimentary drink of wine, beer or soft drink is served each evening on the verandah while we watch the sun set over the palm trees and listen to the wildlife of the rain forest.
