An historical seaside resort, Torquay's wide grassy foreshores are lined with grand shady trees. At Easter time, you’ll catch the world's best surfers competing at the infamous Bells Beach, just a few kilometres southwest of the old township, which is also the birthplace of iconic surf brands Rip Curl and Quiksilver.
Torquay is also the official start of one of Australia's most spectacular coastal drives. The Great Ocean Road meanders for 200 kilometres through the breathtaking Otway Ranges and via the Shipwreck Coast, before paying homage to the hallowed Twelve Apostles. If you dare tackle the terrain by foot, the Surf Coast and Deep Creek walking trails will entice your pioneering spirit towards Torquay’s rugged beaches and rocky cliffs.

The Sands’ unique links style golf course is moulded into the beauty of the Surf Coast. Additional Terms and Conditions

A minimum of 72 hours notice is required by this property for cancellations. Cancellations made within 72 hours of checkin time, forfeit the full amount for the first night cancelled. Extra Charges include: $30 per night, per rollaway single bed $15 per cot, per night
