The Thurgoona Country Club Resort boasts all that you need for an enjoyable and relaxing stay.

With 26 well-appointed guest rooms all overlooking the golf course and off the highway, we can assure you of a quiet and restful nights sleep. A great place to stay if you enjoy nature and her wildlife....

While here, you will not have to leave the resort with all the activities we have to offer.

The resort offers an indoor spa and sauna, swimming pool, 16 tennis courts with 10 under lights and the most modern clubhouse in the region with full club facilities and succulent bistro meals.

The resort offers chargebacks for meals, bars, room service and sporting costs (i.e. golfing fees, cart hire, driving range, private golf lessons etc) with the Golf Clubhouse next door.

Our golf course will challenge all players and recent reviews list it as one of the best along the Murray. Designed by Peter Thomson and Mike Wolveridge in 1984, it is one of Australia's longest at 6,368 metres.

Our breakfast restaurant at the motel will get your day off to a great start with options of continental or fully-cooked breakfasts available seven days a week.

Attractions

There are loads of places to visit in the Albury region. It is a truly beautiful area.

Check out the P.S Cumberoona (i.e. the old paddle steamer), have lunch beside the Murray River, visit the Rutherglen vineyards, Bright (Alpine town), the Victorian Snowfields (110kms) and the old gold mining towns (i.e. Beechworth and Yackandandah). There is also the Lavender Farm, the Deer Farm, the Ettamogah Pub, The Hume Weir and Dartmouth Dam.

A large spacious deluxe room overlooking the 17th & 18th fairways of the golf course.... Rooms can be upstairs with balconies or downstairs stepping out directly onto the course. Room consists of a queen bed, a single bed & a fold down bed. Rate is based on twin share. Additional person is $16 per night.

Spa Suite

A superior room with a spa overlooking the 17th & 18th fairways of the golf course.... Great for romantic getaways! Rooms can be upstairs with a balcony or downstairs stepping out directly onto the course. Room consists of a Queen bed and a single bed. Rate is based on twin share. Additional person is $16 per night.

Standard Room

A lovely room overlooking the 17th & 18th fairways of the golf course.... Rooms can be upstairs with balconies or downstairs stepping out directly onto the course. Room consists of a queen bed & a single bed. An additional bed (i.e. a fold down or rollaway) may be available upon request. Rate is based on twin share. Additional person is $16 per night.
