Fremantle Prison

Fremantle Prison - constructed by convicts between 1851 and 1855, this daunting building was in use as a maximum security prison until 1991. It is open from 10am to 6pm every day.

The Roundhouse

The Roundhouse - is the oldest remaining building in WA. Completed in 1831, it served as the Swan River Colony's first gaol

Town Hall

Town Hall - was opened in 1887 on Queen Victoria's golden jubilee. It is a magnificent example of turn of the century classical architecture. It was recently restored to its original splendour. The Town Hall shop is a source of useful information.

WA Maritime Museum

Is the only Museum in Australia to be granted Centre of Excellence status. This honour is the result of the outstanding work being done in the area of maritime archaeology.

Fremantle Arts Centre and History Museum

Fremantle Arts Centre and History Museum - two of Fremantle's most significant cultural attractions are housed in a magnificent neo-gothic building constructed by convicts in the 1860's to serve as the colony's first lunatic asylum.

Fishing Boat Harbour

A special feature of Fremantle is its maritime atmosphere and this can be best appreciated on a stroll around the Fishing Boat Harbour.

Rottnest Island

Catch a ferry from East Street Jetty just down from the Tradewinds Hotel and enjoy the half hour boat ride to beautiful Rottnest

Our 7 Function rooms, all with natural lighting and broadband internet access, offer wide verandahs and river views and can cater for anywhere from 2 - 250 people.

Should you wish to commence your seminar with breakfast, our Restaurant is the ideal location with views over the Swan River, choose from our continental or deluxe buffet breakfasts.

Morning & afternoon tea breaks are served with freshly brewed coffee and selected teas, served with your choice of gourmet cookies, savoury croissants, sweet slices, warm fruit scones & cream, danish pastries or a selection of muffins.

Our luncheon menus can be designed to suit your conference requirements from a light luncheon to a corporate buffet lunch.

Corporate dinner menus are available and our executive chef will compile a selection of evening dinner menus to suit your requirements, from sit down dinners, buffet dinners or an informal BBQ in the Alfresco courtyard.

We have an extensive range of equipment available for hire and will arrange delivery of any further equipment you may require. All our function rooms have ADSL connections for your convenience.
