Attractions

In Winter downhill and cross-country ski-ing and snowboarding at Falls Creek Resort only 30 kms from Alpenhorn. In warmer months, Mt Beauty is regarded as the "mecca" for mountain bikers. As well as keeping trout fishermen amused in the beautiful Kiewa River or Lakes such as the Mt Beauty Pondage, Lake Guy at Bogong Village or Rocky Valley Dam at Falls Creek. The area is abound with nature walks, beautiful picnic and BBQ spots. Gliding is fantastic from the Mt Beauty Airport where local pilots will take you over the Bogong High Plains and soar over Mt Bogong, the highest mountain in Victoria.

Two bedroom/two storey unit with sweeping mountain & valley views. Sleeps 4-6 with double beds in both bedrooms and a set of single bunks. Modern kitchen, bathroom, all linen and towels provided. The spacious upstairs living area opens onto balcony with views of Mt Bogong, Victoria's highest mountain. BBQ in open garden area and inground pool to cool off.
