Formerly known as the Adelong Motel, the Kookaburra has spread its wings and landed in Narrabri. Country Comfort Narrabri is proud to offer the same level of quality and service that you have come to expect from a Constellation Hotel. Located centrally in Narrabri, adjacent to the Narrabri Bowling Club, where a good bowls tournament is as regular as vegemite in an Australian kitchen cupboard, and opposite Woolworths, you will find that everything is close at hand.
Our Restaurant is open six days a week offering fresh country style cuisine, with that famous three course Country Fare that you have come to love at any Country Comfort property. Breakfast is served in the Restaurant, where you can “Wake Up With Friends” on the large plasma television, or indeed make new ones as you relax in our country themed surroundings.
We are no stranger to the Industry or values of Country Comfort, as we own and manage the Country Comfort in Coonabarabran and look forward to spreading the principles that have made the business grow.

There are many good reasons to visit Narrabri Shire in heart of the rich Namoi Valley in North-West NSW. Reaching here is easy! Narrabri Shire is a scenic seven hour drive from Sydney or Brisbane and is also accessible by train and plane from major centres.

Perhaps the most spectacular sight of the Narrabri Shire is Mt Kaputar National Park. Here, there is a huge range of activities for the outdoors lover including bushwalking, camping and sight seeing. From the mountains highest point of 1511 metres there are 360-degree views encompassing one tenth of NSW.
Narrabri Shire is home to the Australian Cotton Centre. With its interactive exhibits, 3D theatrette and cotton picker it really is a must see for the whole family.
