As Thredbo resides in a National Park an entry fee is required. Passes are available at the park gate or the newsagent located in the village square in Thredbo.

Getting to Thredbo:
Road - Thredbo is 5-6 hours drive from Sydney and 7 hours from Melbourne via the beautiful winding (fully sealed) Kosciusko Alpine Way. From the South Coast and Canberra it takes 2.5 hours + to reach Thredbo.

A warm and friendly European atmosphere greets you on arrival at Candlelight Lodge.
All lodge rooms have beautiful views of the mountain ski slopes, most have balconies also. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with private ensuite, small fridge, TV, video, telephone, tea and coffee making facilities. Our family rooms consist of two rooms. Other facilities include sauna, wireless broadband internet access guest laundry and ski and luggage storage. For the kids there is table tennis, table soccer and an outdoor swimming pool. Candlelight is centrally located with all resort facilities just an easy stroll away.

Candlelight Lodge is one of the few accommodation houses in Thredbo which is open all year. Thredbo's popularity as a summer destination has been increasing at an incredible rate. Alpine hiking has always been a favourite summer pastime amongst Europeans, but Australians are only just beginning to discover the joy of it.
