The Elms has been carefully restored to reflect the original splendour of its period. The antique furnishings and decore create an ambience such that you feel when you are entering this beautiful mansion at the time it was first established early last century.

The Elms is one of a number of Hobart's landmark buildings. It is entered in the Register of the National Estate as an outstanding exasmple of a large house of World War One vintage.

This lovely old mansion is centrally located 1.2 km from the CBD and 500 meters walk from the famous Noth Hobart "Gourmet Strip" which houses many of Hobart's better known eating establishments. Some twenty restaurants and cafes, all within the city block, offer the diner a variety of choice international and ethnic cusines. Delightful gardens are a feature of the large property and a favourite place guests to relax in the shade of the lovely old tress.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast in the intimate atmosphere of the Dining Room with an outlook onto the Englsh garden.
Guests are accommodated in beautifully appointed luxurious private suites, all located within the masion.

Maximum occupancy is 3 people regardless of age. Bedding is a queen and a single bed. Children must be over 7 years of age. This spacious suite overlooks our beautiful gardens. There is a queen bed in one room and a single bed in another room. There is a small lounge area and ensuite.
