Built in the 1920's, Donalea is a solid double brick character home that boasts stunning river views, beautiful cottage gardens, luxurious facilities and is only 40 minutes south of Hobart.
Privacy and personal service is assured, with only two ensuite guest rooms, separate tea room with microwave, large guest lounge and private entrance.
On arrival, we spoil you with afternoon Tea, which you can enjoy on the front balcony overlooking the gardens to the Huon River.
Both rooms are large with spacious Ensuites (1 Spa Bath), TV/Video, electric blankets, hair dryers, clock radios and heating.
Why stay in your room? Your guest lounge awaits with open fire, extensive DVD/Video/CD collection, board games, magazines or perhaps just admire the magnificent views.
When you rise in the morning, we treat you to a choice of 3 home-made breads (white, wholemeal & raisin), cereals, fruit juice pikelets and mouth watering blackberry muffins.
Located in the heart of the Huon Valley and among the apple orchards, we are 45 minutes south of Hobart and close to the Tahune Airwalk, Hastings Caves Huon Jetboat Rides and Southwest National Parks.

Complete privacy with over 10 squares of living space. Awake to superb views of the Huon River from the master bedroom. A complimentary breakfast basket is provided each morning which you can enjoy on your verandah, surrounded by beautiful cottage gardens.
There are 2 bedrooms with one Queen and double bed. Large bathroom with deep bath and separate shower. The kitchenette has a microwave, bake & grill, large fridge and washing machine provided with own personal washing line. An outside barbecue is also available.
River View Apartment is modern living on a very peaceful country property and a perfect base for exploring the Huon Valley.

RIVER VIEW APARTMENT

The River View Apartment has 2 bedrooms, with one Queen and one double bed. Large walk in robe. Beautiful views of the Huon River from the master bedroom.

SPA SUITE

Large room with Queen Bed overlooking gardens. Huge ensuite with double blackwood vanity, spa bath and corner shower. Extra toilet and basin provided in seperate powder room. Perfect for a romantic getaway.

WATERVIEW ROOM

The Waterview room has wonderful views of both the cottage gardens and Huon River. It is a large room with Queen Bed, single bed and lovely large ensuite.
