Location
1.Exit Brisbane airport following the signs to the city
2.After two roundabouts, be in the left lane and turn on to the GATEWAY motorway (Road Number 1) which leads you to Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast
3.Stay on this highway, pay the $2.20 TOLL, and continue, following signs to IPWSWICH/TOOWOOMBA
4.You will veer right to Ipswich/Toowoomba onto another TOLL and pay $1.50
5.Continue along and you will be on the Ipswich Motorway and pay another TOLL of $1.60
6.Soon after the toll you will merge with the Ipswich Highway and go past areas such as Goodna and Redbank
7.After going past Redbank Mall which is on your left, stay in the left lane as your turn off is soon
8.Exit the freeway at the CUNNINGHAM highway (Road number 15) which directs you to Warwick and RAAF base Amberley
(It is the 2nd exit AFTER the Warrego Highway – Toowoomba Exit)
9.Stay on this road for some time and you will go through towns of Warrill View and Aratula.
10.Your destination is Cunningham’s Gap, which is the pass through the Mountains. This is a reasonably steep road and used by a lot Trucks.
11.When you reach the top of the Cunningham’s Gap, proceed along for about another 5km until you see a Service station on your left hand side.
12.Continue along and take the next turn to the left (about 4 km) into South Branch Road. (Approx 12 kms to the very top to the lodge)
13.Proceed up the hill and through the cattle grid.
14.Continue along this road and turn the next on the right - Gross Road and then right into Wilkinson Road. Proceed straight along this road and up the Hill to the top
15.When you reach the top proceed to the Lodge, which is the large building.
