Captain's at the Bay caters for 6 to 7 couples. We are a contemporary B&B. Old is combined with new in an environment that is friendly and non intrusive, with great service.

Subject to availability, you have the choice of a stay in the Terraces, the Cottage unit, or the Loft.

The four Terraces, each with their own external entry, are private bed sitting rooms. All have a lounge area for two and look onto a private furnished courtyard garden.

The Cottage is a spacious bed sitting room also looking onto its own private courtyard garden. It is beautifully appointed like the Terraces, but being by itself it is more secluded. A lot of honeymooners, anniversaries and special getaways stay here.

The Loft is a different style again and is quite spectacular. To the same level of appointment, it has two separate and private bedrooms upstairs and a large living area downstairs. It is very popular with all groups and especially those who return with family or friends from home or overseas. It is also by itself, so is sought after by those couples who just wish to be alone.

A true high standard is maintained throughout. Each room is thoughtfully decorated with individual decor, colour scheme, artwork and personal touches. All have fully tiled ensuites and some feature claw foot baths. TV, VCR,DVD and CD / Cassette and full timber queen size beds are in all rooms. We are designed to give you comfort and privacy all year round.

If your stay is more than one night, rooms are serviced between 10.30am and midday.

The guest lounge and dining area is large, open, warm and elegant. Set up restaurant style it is a welcoming room where we serve a generous Australian breakfast. It is your area to use with papers, books, magazines and a big open fire. Captain’s is licensed with a small range of wines, beers and spirits
