Shingley Beach Resort is peaceful - situated on the waterfront overlooking lovely parkland & Abel Point Marina, with views extending to the Whitsunday Islands and Coral Sea.
Conveniently located 5 minutes walk to the Marina and boat ramps, our 32 self contained apartments are perfectly located to help you enjoy what the stunning Whitsundays have to offer, whether it be for you to experience the Islands, Great Barrier Reef & mainland activities, a comfortable base for you to begin and finish your sailing or boating adventure, a family holiday or a romantic getaway. A pleasant 15 minute walk along the boardwalk or a 2 minute drive takes you to the main street restaurants, shops, clubs and local conveniences. The Restaurant within the Resort is currently closed.
Our Studio, 1, 2 & 3 Bedroom Apartments have north facing balconies with water views that also capture those beautiful tropical sunsets. Poolside 1 Bedroom Apartments (1 with facilities for the disabled) have patios with access to the main pool and barbeque area which overlooks the waterfront parkland, Shingley Beach and Marina.
For your enjoyment & convenience, Shingley Beach Resort has a lap pool with barbecue, two plunge pools with barbecue, tour desk, business/conference & wedding facilities, as well as on site massage & body centre, boutique, hair salon, photography/video production, yacht broker and scuba diving school.

Attractions

The Whitsundays are renowned as a sailing paradise. Take a sailing or motor boat cruise. Scuba dive or snorkel the Great Barrier Reef or an island bay. Take a scenic flight, parasail, do a tandem skydive, join a crocodile safari, go whale watching (seasonal) or visit one of our many islands. Walk through the Conway National Park or laze around the Airlie Beach Lagoon. Our tour booking office can recommend something for every taste.
