About

The chapel was built in 1836 by the Wesleyan community. It has also been a Druids hall and the local community hall. It has recently been totally refurbished and has all conveniences necessary for a comfortable stay including full kitchen, queen size bed, a sitting and dining area, TV, laundry facilities and an outside dining area also.
A home made breakfast pack is included in the tariff. This contains farm eggs, home made breads, jams, cereals, porridge, freshly ground coffee, tea, milk and lots more.
Entering the village of Evandale is like stepping back in time to the Victorian era and yet it is only FOUR minutes from Launceston Airport and an easy 15 minute drive from the centre of Launceston city.
The village has several places to eat, a great bakery and a couple of nice pubs.
Every Sunday the famous Evandale markets are held in the showgrounds, just a 200m walk from the Chapel. Treat yourself to a different experience.

The whole street is Heritage listed and is a delight to wander around. Every Sunday the famous Evandale markets are held in the Showgrounds which are only 200m from your front door.

You are only about 15 minutes from the centre of Launceston city but you have the advantage of returning to a quiet Victorian village at the end of the day.
